Super rare DIA bass DIA brand was never introduced to US market and it used to be "UK only" brand name. I purchased guitar many years ago in London. Neck plate is stating: STEEL REINFORCED NECK , Made in Japan + serial number, same as all other guitars of early Jap invasion. Guitar is in good condition for it's age. It has some dings and knocks at the tail but nothing serious to affect sound.Body and neck paint work is old school and looks great. Bass works well and producing rich fat sound on neck pickup but bridge pickup sounds like Jazz bass on steroids.
