Bassett-Lowketinplate 2-6-0 steam locomotive with bridge rectifier and Lionel lead truck wheels for use on 3-rail AC track This is an O gauge modern-day recreation of a prewar Bassett-Lowke British tinplate locomotive. It is made of sheet metal but contains a modern-style can motor. It was built as a 3-rail/2-rail DC only model and has been converted to 3-rail AC by adding a full-wave bridge rectifier into the motor circuit. The couplers are British/Hornby style with hooks and loops. The locomotive read more
