Bassett Lowke Flying Scotsman CW average condition. This is an original production Bassett Lowke Flying Scotsman. Clockwork. It is in average condition and needs a bit of a tidy up including repinning of a one of the valve gear rivets but otherwise is in pretty good shape.Please look at other listings for some rare controlled clockwork including an outstanding W & H, LMS tank post war, W & H with Marklin mech (prewar), A superb LNER N2 controlled clockwork along with lots of Bassett Lowke, Marklin, Bing and others.Given I will be listing a wide variety of items from Z gauge to 1 gauge which will take some time let me know if there is anything you are looking for and I can list immediately.I am selling a quantity of mainly Hornby O gauge but Marklin, Bing and Bassett Lowke parts and restoration pieces. Much of the Hornby will include Wessex repro varnish fix decals (same method as Hornby used) where appropriate.Please look at my other auctions for other restoration pieces, parts locomotives etc by Bing, Hornby, Bassett Lowke. Many of these items come from a collector who started many restoration projects but seemed to have trouble finishing them.
