This is a large 14 x 16 inch piece of 'The Bat' hero vehicle from 'The Dark Knight Rises'. This piece was part of the wing of the vehicle that hit a street sign during filming on Smithfield St in Pittsburgh. Large parts of 'The Bat' were broken off during the collision which occurred after 2 days of filming with the prop. This piece was removed from a portion of the left wing that broke off in order to make it display more easily.It is constructed from fiberglass and has traces of the wings build material on the reverse.The video can be seen by googling 'Batman crash pittsburgh'.
