BATES, WALKER & CO LUSTRE JAR

~1875-78~

You are bidding on this mustard or jam pot with underplate in the Etruscan Vases pattern made by Bates, Walker and Co of Burslem, England between the years of 1875-1878 (they later became Bates, Gildea and Walker). Decorated in earthtones and coated with a shiny lustre finish. The jar is handled and has a lid that sits deep in the jar to reveal the decorated rim. No damage, just some crazing and age staining on the inside and on the bottom of the plate.
