This auction is for a rare pare of Indonesian Batik Tjap fabric stamps that were purchased by my mother during her travels through Indonesia back in the early 1970's. Mostly likely 1973 or 1974. These stamps are wonderfully preserved and have been in storage since roughly that era. These stamps are still embedded with the wax used in the Batik process and are completely unmolested. Each stamp is 7-inches wide by 9-inches high. These Batik stamps would make beautiful displays. The craftsmanship required to create such intricate stamps is an art in and of itself! Please ask whatever questions you might have ahead of bidding. The winning Bidder will pay actual shipping costs and should state at the close of the auction if Insurance is required. On delicate stamps such as these I highly recommend it. I am sorry I will not be able to quote shipping costs until the close of the auction as that is when I will take the packaged boxes to the Post Office for a quote. Items are being sold "As Is". Payment is due within 5 days of the close of this auction and the payment method must be Paypal, Money Order, or Cashier's Check. Thank you so much for looking and good luck!!! Also called Chop. My mom told me to add this word to the auction. That's what she recalls them also being called back in the day. Adding the word Butterfly to this auction read more
