This auction is for an original, double-sided "Teaser B" poster for The Dark Knight , directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Morgan Freeman.

This poster features Joker through a sheet of fogged glass. The poster is an original poster from Warner Brothers, NOT a reprint! It measures 27x40, and it's double sided with the reverse image on the back! It's never been displayed, and it's in perfect condition! This poster is 100% official and incredibly rare! Theatre posters are never sold directly to the public. They're created solely for marketing/promotional purposes. You can usually only see them in movie theatre displays. They're thicker and larger than store-bought wall posters. They're also incredibly collectible, since they're "Official", not "Officially Licensed" - these were actually made by the studio, not an outside company.

Of the four theatre posters created for The Dark Knight , this version is by far the rarest and most sought after by fans and collectors, since it's the only one of the posters to feature Heath Ledger in his final role. This poster will be considered a classic in film history for years to come.

As a special bonus, the winner of this auction will also recieve 20 Joker cards from The Dark Knight . These cards are high quality reproductions, copied from the original cards featured in the film. They're printed on thick cardstock paper with purple and green backs. Included in this set are the four most well-known cards from the film. The first is the "classic" Joker card, seen at the end of Batman Begins , as well as the trailers/posters from The Dark Knight . It features a medieval jester. The second card features a clown holding a severed head. This card can be seen when Joker leaves his card with the crime bosses early in the film. The third card is the one that Joker slips into the judge's folder in the courtroom scene, with the "demon". And the fourth is the same card, revised to say "Will the Real Batman Please Stand Up?". This is the card that Joker pins to the hanged Batman imposter, secretly naming his next three victims.
