Lot: 6 different original 35mm color slides plus 5 different b/w 8x10 photos from: BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM, THE ANIMATED MOVIE Approximate year printed/created: 1993 Extra info: Highly collectible original movie press kit from the original theatrical release! Includes the folder with the movie title on front, assorted printed press releases regarding the creation of the film, plus 6 beautiful color 35mm slides/transparencies, showing BATMAN in action, as well as BRUCE WAYNE, ANDREA BEAUMONT, THE JOKER, and THE PHANTASM, created especially for this story. Press kit also has 5 different black and white 8x10 publicity photos. Photos and slides both have studio info and year printed on the mounts or in the borders. Very cool, hard to find items for fans of the movie, which stars KEVIN CONROY, MARK HAMILL, EFREM ZIMBALIST JR., DANA DELANY, ABE VIGODA and HART BOCHNER. Rounding out this lot are a couple of related items never usually included with the press kit. There is one 5x7 promotional postcard, showing a color scene on front (basically a small rendition of the movie poster), and a black and white 'Color This Picture' shot on back. Pose on back includes THE JOKER, plus the announcement: "Coming to a Theater Near You This Christmas." There is scuffing on the front, unfortunately, but the back is clean and clear and not colored in. Finally, there is one Book Display Header, never used and in MINT condition. It features glossy, color art depicting BATMAN, THE JOKER and THE PHANTASM, plus the proclamation "The blockbuster movie is now a blockbuster book!" Very RARE, and perfect for collectors who have seen everything else. Measures about 10 1/2 inches across and 10 inches from bottom corner to tip of Batman's cape, if unfolded. Altogether, an extremely nice lot! As is the case with everything I list on eBay, I only have this one lot and no extras or duplicates. I am one person disposing of a single collection, rather than a store with extra stock or the ability to reproduce goods at will. Regarding INTERNATIONAL SALES: The only way to track shipments overseas is to use EXPRESS MAIL, which is frankly prohibitively expensive, even for the smallest package. PLEASE contact me before bidding if you are interested. I am open to dealing with sales abroad, but have found that 99% are not willing to pay for (or even partially offset) the high cost of EXPRESS MAIL (about $50 to most countries, so I hardly blame them!). If you have a solid eBay reputation and prefer the cheaper alternative of FIRST CLASS, or the moderately priced (but faster) PRIORITY MAIL, let me know.
