"Batman" (The Joker) "The Killing Joke" DC Comics Promotional Standee (1988) Written by Alan Moore, Art By Brian Bolland Measures approx. 9" wide by 10 1/4" high Excellent condition, 19 years old We put away this awesome promo item for Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's classic "The Killing Joke", almost 2 decades ago. It's been sealed in acid-proof mylar, against acid-proof foam-core backing, and preserved in a dark, cool, dry and smoke-free enviroment ever since we aquired it. In other words: Minty Fresh! This was a promo piece ( never sold to the public ), produced by DC Comics to insert into the back of a Comic rack display at a Comic Book shop retail store. The Art is amazing! A wonderful illustration by Bolland of The Joker coming completely unglued, in the throws of total insanity.
