On March 17th, 2009, Whoopi Goldberg hosted a discussion between the cast and producers of Battlestar Galactica (a Sci Fi network show) and top UN officials, examining themes of importance to both the UN and the TV show - human rights, child soldiers, terrorism and reconciliation among faiths. It was pegged to the release of the final episode of Battlestar Galactica in the latest attempt by the UN to get its message across via popular culture. You are bidding on the UN name colony name plate CAPRICA that was placed around the UN chamber. Only a limited numer of these items were produced by the UN's in-house sign shop for this special occasion. The dimensions of the sign are 2"x12".
