This auction is for an original, vintage movie poster, an original item used to promote a movie at the time of its release, usually in a theatre. This time the theatre was in Italy! This time its a rare insert poster... The film: BATWOMAN The Star: Maura Monti Original vintage Italian INSERT movie poster for BATWOMAN, a movie that borrowed a lot from the Sixties tv series with Adam West and Burt Ward, from the style of music down to the spinning scene breaks. Very cool. Its not Yvonne Craig! The Joker, The Riddler, Catwoman, the Penguin, they're not in it either! And its nothing like the Tim Burton series... I don't know if it spawned any toys. The film had wrestling scenes, as this was a popular time for lucha libre and the masked wrestler hero Santo, as well as wrestlers like Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras, Tinieblas, Frankestein and many more. The condition of the poster is pretty good, has some slight visible wear that usually comes with locandinas. It was folded in half once long ago and has been rolled for the most part ever since. I've had this hanging in a store for 450.00 before! There is a small half inch tear on the top near the center in the white area, otherwise in very decent shape.
