Beautiful 4" Midget Vase in the desirable burgundy glaze. This vase has the added, and rare, feature of the original label still affixed. Although t is some wear to the label, all the words are still easily readable. Jack Chipman calls these paper labels "rarely seen." [p. 73, Collector's Encyclopedia of Bauer Pottery, 1998 ed. See page 76 for a photo of this vase in matte cream glaze.] T are NO CHIPS and NO CRACKS. This sweet vase is in super condition, with a deeply-inscribed signature on the base in block letters "BAUER." Note: the color shown in the second photo, the one with the signature, is more accurate than the brighter-red photo of the vase itself. The glaze is a true, deep burgundy, hard to capture in a photo.Buyer pays $5.00 Priority shipping for anyw in the Continental U.S. Insurance is optional and recommended.
