GORGEOUS MATT CARLTON REBEKAH "BAUER" VASE ~ 12" I am offering this wonderful and rare BAUER REBEKAH Vase hand thrown by Bauer's infamous potter, Matt Carlton. As you can see it is absolutely stunning with it's beautiful, cobalt glaze that has an indigo blue hue to it. This vase is from my personal collection and is in excellent condition; it has been gently cared for over the years. The glaze is thick and even, no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a very small circular clear glaze abrasion toward the top, but you need to look for it. Otherwise, it is minty. You will love adding this jewel to your collection. A picture can be found on page 55 in Jack Chipman's Collector's Encyclopedia of Bauer Pottery in Chinese yellow with a book price of $1000+. This is an exceptional value. I estimate production in the early to mid 30's. I'm sure you will enjoy adding this piece to your collection, you will be the envy of many. You won't be disappointed, that you can be sure.
