Baunhausle German Cuckoo Clock 19" x 14"
This is another gem from my father's outstanding clock collection. A repairman and avid collector for over 30 years, my Dad has been buying, selling and repairing clocks from as far back as I can remember. Unfortunately, it took moving away from home for me to fully appreciate his craft. I now feel privileged, to be 'working' with him in selling some of these magnificent treasures. Due to the delicate nature and age of the clocks we are selling these items "as-is" , so we advise that you check the photos carefully to make sure of what you are bidding on. This Item is a gorgeous Baunhausle 30 hr. cuckoo clock that is in good running condition, having been cleaned and oiled, however, is still being sold as-is. It stands at an impressive 19"x 14" and dates back to the late 1800's. It has a brass caste movement. The carving and engraving on this clock is incredible. It boasts a wood flapping bird, and even the pendulum is striking. T has been some minor repair work performed to the clock and is fine condition. My Father takes great care in packing the clocks, but insurance is still highly recommended for purchases beyond $100 . Thanks for looking and please checkout our other auctions!
