Exceptional Solid brass antique Bausch and Lomb Rochester Microscope. Patented Feb, 19, 1897 Stands approx 13.5 inches tall All parts,including base, are brass, except for the table top which is some sort of composite. We could not get magnet to stick any w Looked through all three lenses, No cracks etc. Just some dust. Original box is with it, but the top is missing with handle, otherwise in good shape we will give along with purchase of scope. The piece is marked with "Bausch and lomb Rochester NY" in many places. It appears to have been very well kept, although it does have light surface scratches through-out, from normal use. T are three lenses and two eye pieces ( #1 & #2) with original containers. They are: 1/8 0.93 N.A. Tube lenth 160.0 MM 2/3 0.24 N.A. Tube lenth 160.0 MM 1/12 1.30 N.A. Tube lenth 160.0 MMAll Marked Bausch and Lomb Optics Rochester NY. This appears to have been and is a real special model. High Quality one expects from B & L of this period. It has all types of adjustments which are free and working. It also tilts back in any position from horizontal to vertical. Fantastic piece for display or use. This is a no reserve auction, so you may get a great MicroScope at a great price.
