This is an authentic mountain goat hat brush with an Edelweiss flower on the pewter pin. The brush is made from the "beard" of hair from the neck of the mountain goat which is commonly referred to in German as gamsbart. This was purchased in Bavaria along with the hat (see other listing) in the early 90's. Mint condition. I buy and sell only items I think are unique or beautiful. However, I am not an expert on anything. I try to describe each item as accurately as possible, but I may miss something that is important to you.
