A scabbard which I believe to be either German or Austrian WWI-WWII. Overall length is approx 10.5 inches. Throat opening is approx. 1.125 inches by .25 inches. Typical Germanic style frog attachment. Spring in throat held by rivet on both sides. Flat green paint which looks to be original to period. Approx. 80% still intact. No dents. Only marking is an oval near the throat which contains a M with a figure below which may be a 3. Scabbard weighs a little over 6 ounces. No reserve beyond the opening bid of $40.
