This knife has been in my family since 1945 when my father brought it home after the war. The engraving on the blade says "USM 3 IMPERIAL" The engraving on the sheath says "USM 8, B M C O" The entire bayonet is 12 inches long, about an inch wide, with a 5 inch handle. The sheath is metallic green with a canvas belt holder in perfect condition.
