Species: Tugtupite w/ chkalovite, polylithionite, unknown uranium mineral (FL green), aegirine, albite Locality: Taseq Slope, Ilimaussaq complex, Narsaq, Kitaa Province, GreenlandSize: Cabinet - 8.8 x 7.4 x 3.6 cm (3-1/2 x 3 x 1-1/2") Notes: From one of the most productive fluorescent localities in Greenland (or anyw, for that matter!), this cabinet chunk hosts several good-sized domains of cherry-red-fluorescing tugtupite (pink in daylight), associated with greenish-white fluorescing chkalovite and yellowish-white polylithionite, plus a trace of uranium-activated green fluorescence. T are several contenders for the crown of best pure red fluorescence, but it's hard to beat this material. BILBOBURGLAR GOES WEST...
