Shabti of Pasinebu
The T-shaped inscription on the shabti reads as follows:
(1) sHD Wsir p(A)-z(j)-nbw (2) ms.n sTt mAa-xrw
“(1) Illuminating of the Osiris, Pasinebu, (2) born of Setjet, justified.”
The name Pasinebu means “the man of gold”.

These name formations are typical for the Late Period.

Compare the name of the famous Pharaoh Psametik: p(A)-z(j)-n-mTk “the man of mixed wine”.

The name of the mother, Setjet, means “the asiatic” (cf. Ranke, Personennamen, p. 322 no. 17, 18).

(1) sHD Wsir p(A)-z(j)-nbw (2) ms.n sTt mAa-xrw

Ranke, Personennamen, S. 322 Nr. 17, 18).
