It is framed but a gold leaf plein air frame added to the linen liner would enhance the painting greatly. Franklin Morris (b.1938-American) Franklin Morris is a contemporaryAmerican artist who lives in Ohio. Though he was primarily a self-taught artist, his eye wastrained and influenced by early twentieth century American artists who developed styles of Impressionism and Tonalism. He specialized in cityscape paintings of New York City throughout different seasons of the year.
