Beaded Cradleboard Cradle Board Lakota Indian Beadwork

This auction is for one small cradleboard. Measurements are 8 1/4inches in height (beaded part only), 3 1/2 inches wide at widest point,overall height is 12 inches, 19 1/2 inches in height with fringe. Colors are dark brown, black, white, honey brown, red, orange, and yellow. Made with white deer hide, sinew, tin cones, baby bells, black & tan cloth. Beadwork done on cradleboard is loomwork, flat beading, lazy stitch, and peyote stitch. Small beaded turtle (on upper right side of cradleboard) is flat beading and peyote stitch. Small beaded baby moccasins are lazy stitch. Cradleboard is loomwork. Signed and dated by maker. Small strap on back for wall hanging. (FOR WALL HANGING OR DISPLAY ONLY).
