a really Spectacular beaded holster --typical Kiowa pattern --soft leather with numerous old bead bands --most of the colors are typical of the 1890s-1900 period --pistol inside is a near Mint 1900 Iver Johnson .38 S&W with 4" barrel --pearl grips have a silver inley marked :" Ajax Mine --Victor " --doe to the fantastic condition of this piece and the pearl grips it is worth about 400.00 --PLEASE NOTE : You are bidding on Holster ONLY.!!!!! when I opened up the "Theater of Time" Museum of the Amer. Indian and Fur Trade in Cripple Creek, Colo. in 1985, an old man brought this in and sold it to me. --He said that his Father worked for the Ajax Mine in 1895-1905 --His wife was a Kiowa lady that made hte holster for him --John said that his kids were already squabbling over this item, so he said that he would sell it to me to avoid future fights.--even back in 1985, I had to pay quite a bit for this, so the price is a little higher. it is a Great early Kiowa holster. !!!!!
