You are bidding on a Sydenham & Oustra English Bear Stealing Honey cast iron bank, c.1908. This bank is guaranteed to be an original antique bank as described. T are no problems such as cracks, chips, replacement parts, repaints, etc. The bank has very little paint wear and retains most of the original japanned finish. In the 4th picture I have pointed out what I believe to be a very slight casting flaw. A small piece of the plant was not cast. It is hard to tell from the picture, but w the piece is missing t is glaze / paint covering the spot. This is why I am certain it is a casting flaw. I have also seen this bank pictured with the same piece missing. I want to point out everything I can possibly think of, no matter how small, for the sake of accuracy. The dimensions are 7 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide across the base. I would grade the bank excellent plus. As you know, this is a hard to find bank in any shape. The condition of this one is outstanding I am selling this vintage cast iron bank with NO RESERVE !!!!!!!! Good luck! I believe you will be happy with the purchase.
