Abbey Road. PCS 7088. Original 1969 Stereo. First Press. Rare Error Sleeve. Hardly Played! This LP is rare for two reasons, one reason giving full credence to the other. Firstly this is a rare 'First Pressing Error Copy', with the odd 'Miss-aligned Apple' on the reverse of the sleeve. The 'normal' pressings had the Apple, in line with the text, not sticking out to the left! There has been much speculation as to why this happened and whose head was on the block for it happening, but the end result was that it was corrected almost immediately, making any that 'got away' very, very rare... like this copy! Along with the cover or sleeve 'error', there is also a deeper green Apple label on Side One, later copies had a lighter green Apple. Now, this particular 'error' copy does have the 'Her Majesty' credit on the label, but it does not have the credit on the sleeve. The second reason for this record's rarity is that it has not been played very often, with an Excellent Plus-Plus look to both sides of the vinyl, meaning no scratches, no scuffs, no visible marks and no spindle wear.
