This is a rare, limited edition sericel titled "Penny Lane" This cel measures 14" x 10.5" and bears the official DenniLu stamped seal in the bottom right corner. The sericels are created, designed, manufactured and distributedby the DenniLu Company under license from Apple Corps Ltd DenniLu, in conjunction with the Beatles copyrights, hasdeveloped this Limited Edition Serigraph series which contained hand-tailored scenes based on the Saturday morning cartoon series, "The Beatles". This piece is from the episode "Penny Lane" where the Beatles are given a tour of Scotland Yard where they meet England's greatest detective James Blonde. Sericels are cels whose characters have been transferred to the acetate by a silk-screen printing process known as serigraphy. The serigrapher applies each color separately, one screen at a time, in perfect registration. The result is an original work of art. The image of this sericel is limited to 500 pieces. After the edition size has been researched, the screens used in creating it are destroyed, ensuring their limited status.
