This CD set includes songs by each individual Beatle that was issued on the Apple label in the USA in edited or mono form . Many of the songs were mixed down in MONO as AM stations could not play stereo songs. And many of the songs were shortened as AM stations wouldn't play a four minute song. We're still the only seller to have offered this rarity on compact disc! It's just not that easy to come by. What great about this rare 2 CD set are some of the great mono mixes and edits. "JET" by McCartney is a great edit and was heavily played on the radio. The problem was, we didn't know how to purchase it at the time as the standard single was the album version. But it's on this CD set along with the mono issue of "Woman Oh Why ", "Band on the Run mono edit" , "NO. 9 Dream Mono Edit", "Sally G" in MONO and many other alternate mixes . This is a private issue 2 CD set on Silver CDs. The sound quality of the songs are wonderful however the artwork is not as sharp in detail as I would have liked to have seen. But then, it's really all about the music, isn't it? This rarity does not come around often so get it whilst you can. Both CDs have only been played once and have shiny, glistening playing surfaces.
