Check out my other items ! PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE BEATLES . Presented is the very desirable Canadian 2nd issue CD of Rubber Soul (Capitol C2 46440). As some collectors have discovered, this cd contains the original 1965 stereo mixes of the Rubber Soul album not the 1987 remixes . As far as I know Canada was the only Country to issue this cd with the origial 1965 stereo mixes - but it was an accident. When the Rubber Soul album appeared on cd in 1987 all cds everyw contained a 1987 remix of the album. In the early 1990's when Canada re-issued the cd somehow the original 1965 stereo mix got substituted. It appears that this fact went un-noticed for many years by collectors. These cd issues with the 1965 mix have been out of circulation for well over 12 years. The current Canadian compact discs have now reverted back to the 1987 mixes. The tell tale difference in the mixes is the noticeable pop w one of the Beatles bumps a microphone at 1:07 in Run For Your Life which appears in the 1965 mix only. The vocals on the songs are also missing the extra reverb which was added to the 1987 mixes. The whole disc has a much more noticeable top end especially on songs like Now Man w the guitar solo sounds so muted in the 1987 remix. The cd I am auctioning is probably the very first pressing with the 1965 stereo mix. It is lacking the Apple logo on the disc which was added around 1991 to 1992. The booklet and back insert still have the CDP 7 46440 2 serial number as a number of U.S. printed inserts were used on these early re-issues. The CD was manufactured in Canada by DISQUE AMERIC and is in NM condition. The inserts are a little yellowed and grade VG++ to NM-. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY CAPITOL FACTORY PRESSED DISC AND IS NOT A FAKE. Packaging - I custom box all records for maximum durability during shipping. Records are removed from the covers and both are sandwiched between thick cardboard that is bigger than the album covers to prevent any bumped corners. I want you to get your items in the same condition they left me. YOU WILL NEVER GET A SHODDY PACKING JOB FROM ME. Shipping - For multiple wins I do combine shipping. Note : double albums count as 2 records / Triple albums count as 3 records in regards to shipping. U.S. and Canada - $6.50 for airmail shipping. Rest Of The World - $9.50 for airmail shipping.
