Super rare 7" Beatles Second Open-End Interview Compact 33 on Capitol Records (PRO 2598) with ORIGINAL SLEEVE in nice condition. This7"disc issued plays at 33 and 1/3 rpm and was issued by Capitol Records for promotional use only to radio and television stationsand never sold to the general public. The sleeve is almost impossible to find in any condition. The disc plays an audio interview with the Beatles in which the disc jockey or TV on-air person were to supply their own voices in the open space slotted for the question with the Beatle answer in response. The intended use was for the interview to sound like it was done by the local on-air personality. Beatles songs are mixed in at various points.
Both sleeve and disc are Guaranteed AUTHENTIC!
Grading:
Sleeve: (VG-) Glossy tab-cut sleeve is decent with NO writing and NO stickers. It shows moderate handling wear. T is a 1" slit at the right edge at the top and a 1/4" slit at the left opening at the top. Sleeve lies nice and flat with a light ring impression.
Disc (labels): (NM-/NM-) Both labels are clean with light spindle use. NO writing and NO stickers.
Disc (vinyl): (VG+/VG+) Disc is nice glossy and looks lightly to moderately played. Has some superficial light lines which can only be seen under good light but NO deep scratches and NO scuffs whatsoever. The disc lies perfectly flat.
