The Beatles " Please Please Me " b/w " Ask Me Why " Vee Jay 498 white label promo (Disc Jockey Advance Sample) in gorgeous true near mint condition. This is the very first record in the United States to bear the Beatles name - and it was misspelled as " The Beattles "! The stock copy was released in the U.S. on or about February 20, 1963, so the disc jockey promo samples were probably distributed in the first week of February. Both labels are clean and free of any staining, writing, or tape marks (often found with these). Each side of the vinyl looks like a "mirror" - virtually unplayed. These surface every once in a while but rarely in top-notch condition. This is Spizer-cataloged as VJ 498.DJ1. Condition and satisfaction guaranteed. The reserve is under $2500. Free double-boxed priority shipping and insurance to U.S. buyer. International buyer to inquire for shipping costs. Please email with any questions. I will be out of town from December 16 through January 5 and will not be able to ship during that period.
