BeatrixPotter and the Tale of Her Little Animal Friends has delighted children young & old for over 100 years. I started to collect these lovely little figurines the moment my son announced he & beautiful wife were expecting their first child, a boy! For Grandma, that’s me, it was an opportunity of a life time to start making plans for the arrival of my new baby Grandson. I collected 14 of the 20 figurines that complete this series and started my plans to make a baby shower like no other. Take a look at the pictures of the special event held March of this year. My talented friend created the floral centerpieces of white baby carnations and we placed a different character upon the top of each bouquet for each table. (see pictures of event, how adorable) I also used the rest to adorn the cake, saving Peter Rabbit for the top. On each table a coordinating Beatrix Potter book was place for each guest to write a short note/message to the new baby. Everyone wrote truly wonderful comments. A real treasure for both Mommy and Daddy-to-be. Collect these charming figurines for pleasure or let your imagination run wild, you will not regret this purchase ever!
