This auction is for a very nice large four handled vase. It stands 11 3/4 " to the top edge, the top opening is 2 1/2" across, the bottom is 3 1/2" in diameter and it is approximately 5 1/2" wide at the handles. The form is stunning and graceful as the handles seem to grow out of the main body of the vase about 3" from the bottom. The handles are formed in the shape of an Iris leaf with the tips attaching just below the lip. As far as the color what can I say, it is an absolutely gorgeous deep sunflower yellow shading to a lighter color at the edges of the handles which gives the vase a striped appearance. The base flares out, rolls under 1/4" and then forms a small pedestal. I tried to show this in the photos. The top opening is sort of squared, that is t are small flat sides w the tips of the handle attach. The overall condition is excellent with very fine crazing. T are no cracks and the only problem is a glaze chip on the pedestal portion of the base which I have pictured. The vase is unmarked as you can see but definately has the Fulper look. If you know it to to be something other please let me know. This is a NO RESERVE auction.
