Hello, This Beautiful AAAA indigo and electric Blue Azurite Specimen is from the Tongshan Copper Mines, Anhui Province, China. I personally hand selected this piece at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show out of hundreds of specimens for its outstanding color and quality. The outstanding sparkling Azurite Crystals occur on the surface and in caverns of Azurite/Malachite/Limonite Breccia. Two sides are very nice with hundreds of sparkling crystals. This is some of the best specimen grade Azurite we have seen and this specimen is in the very top percentile. This specimen is a richer and darker hue and the crystals far nicer than the camera is able to show. This specimen measures about 2 inches by 1.8 inches by 1.4 inches and weighs about 87 Grams or 3.1 Ounces. We are miners bringing you these specimen directly from the earth. We are natives of western and mid western states with historic mining, mineral and geological occurrences. I am a 7th generation prospector and miner from Arizona and my associate is 5th generation out of Missouri. Our family histories include living, prospecting and mining in and around the historic towns of Lamar, Missouri and Tombstone, Arizona when Wyatt Earp held power. We own numerous mining properties and mines that contain a wide assortment of minerals and mineral combinations. Charles Poston and Sam Colt held interests in several of the properties we are presently offering specimens from. We have researched mining districts throughout the western United Sates and Mexico in our continuing effort to identify both commercially viable and specimen deposits. With our combined knowledge and experience we enter the dangerous old historic mines to survey their potential for mineral occurrences and specimens. Please keep this in mind when you bid. We hope you will enjoy our minerals and believe you will find the pictures, descriptions and quality of our specimens accurate.
