This is a beautiful American Brilliant cut glass bowl signed Libbey. It is 8' wide and 4" high decorated with large and small flowers, thistles and leaves. The flowers and thistles have sharp diamond nailhead centers and the leaves are cut with fine rays. This pattern nearly covers the outside of the bowl with cuttings. The "Libbey" signature is in one of the clear spaces between the leaves at the top of the bowl. I have never seen this pattern, but I am not a cut glass authority. However, I feel it is an exceptionally pretty bowl. T is a chip on one of the sawteeth forming the rim and some small flea bites on two or three others. I felt the bowl and rim over very carefully and I see no other chips or damage of any kind. They are not noticeable on the sawtooth rim without close inspection, but I try to note any inperfections I find. A beautiful American Brilliant signed cut glass bowl!
