Up for auction is a beautiful antique muffin stand that dates to the early 1900's, maybe earlier. It comes from an estate in Northern Maine. T are three tiers, the bottom shelf is 13" in diameter, the middle shelf is 11" in diameter and the top shelf is approx. 10". T are three bent wood pieces that are joined by a beautifully carved ball at the top of the shelf. Each shelf is bordered by a piece of inlay composed of lighter wood. T are some ripples in the inlay portion of the shelf, that could be repaired easily. The shelf stands 36" tall and would add elegance to any room or style. The legs appear to be joined by wooden pegs. Please ask any questions. I have tried to show all of the "flaws" in the piece and have described it as accurately as possible. I believe it is mahogany, but I am not positive.
