Early 20th century Siemens & Halske desk phone in excellent condition throughout. Brass, bakelite, and nickel composition, with no dents, dings, cracks or other damage evident anyw Nickel plating is outstanding on both cradle and handset, with no rust nor even any significant surface oxidation. Painted metal is clean and flat black, with a few minor nicks and t, but no blotchiness or touch-ups evident anyw Disc on which nomenclature is printed appears to be a professional replacement, but it could be original -- I'm not sure, as I don't have another with which to compare it. Everything else looks correct and original. Moreover, the phone still appears to work as it should, mechanically, which is to say that when the handset is placed on cradle, the dial locks, and when the handset is lifted, the dial releases. A stunning piece of early 20th century design. Buyer prepays and includes shipping. Paypal okay.
