Beautiful Antique Vintage Sterling Silver Tea Infuser

Offered for auction is this very nice sterling silver teal ball - round with hinged snap cover and chain. The ball is in the shape of a small round 3-fotted caultron, about 1-1/4" high. . Its cover, with a knob in the center is about 1 1/2 inches across. T is a finely done etched design around the body of the piece - waves or flora type design with an inscribed "G" initial. This is the same initial that appears on a coin silver goblet I have listed in a separate auction.
Marks: In the silver surround on the body of the piece w the lid meets the body t are inscriptions and marks. This piece shows the word "Sterling" with a Cross or "Plus Sign" and then the number 2767 and then the letter W. T is also a scratched set of initials written upside down beside this - HTU. It also looks like "XI" has been scratched into the rim on the opposite side. Condition: The piece is in very nice shape overall. Always well stored and taken care of. You should expect to see a tiny nick or two a the rim of the top of the piece and a light scratch and t T is scratching on the inside of the piece - either from manufacture or use. Please ask any other questions you may have about this piece before bidding. This piece is part of a lot consigned to me by a couple that is retiring and downsizing after many years in the DC art gallery market. PayPal is only offered within areas w delivery confirmation through USPS can be issued. This means US zip codes (no APO addresses) and confirmed addresses through PayPal (check your account to see if your address is confirmed). International buyers will need to purchase through money order. All items are sold as-is and described as best as I am able. I like to sell a variety of things but do not claim to be an expert at most and may not know the key details that you may like to see in a description. I feel that you, the buyer are the better expert so please ask questions before you bid so you may do so with confidence! As such, if you think that t might be condition issues that my untrained eye might not see, please ask about them before you bid. Otherwise you are responsible for the item, as-is, as delivered, and t are no exchanges, refunds or returns. All shipping prices include mandatory delivery confirmation for US shipping and, although we do our best to pack well for shipping we cannot be held liable for loss or damage incurred to items in the mail unless insurance is purchased.
