NOTE: This item is available to ship, as well as for local pickup. See below for more information. This is a gorgeous antique walnut table set. The set includes four chairs, and table with two additional leaves. I bought this set from an antique store a few years ago. It came t through an estate. From my research I believe it is Italian Gothic, possibly French. If you look at the photos of the chairs, you can see the gothic elements in the tops and bottoms of the chair backs, especially. T are spindles along the chair backs and the center table support even builds up to a center spindle. All the spindles and other architectural elements are complete and undamaged with the exception of a small piece out of the center spindle on the table floor support. When the table is extended with the two extra leaves, t are four additional legs with casters that come down to meet the floor. One of the legs is bent so that it doesn't completely meet the floor. I have still used the table at full length and this has not presented a problem. It might be something that could be repaired, however I saw no need to do that. When I recently had my house for sale, many of the people who came through to look at it asked if the set went with the house or if the set was for sale. It is really unusual and beautiful. It is also very sturdy and functional. I believe it dates to the late 1800's, if not earlier. If any ebayers out t have any information to help verify it's origin, please email and let me know. The seats and seat backs are hand-tooled leather and are all in fantastic condition for the age of the set. T are no holes or tears in any of the leather and t are no tacks missing. The tooling is absolutely gorgeous as I hope you can see from the photos. T is slight wear due to the age, but it only enhances the beauty of the pieces. The table measures 40" L x 40.5" W x 29.25" H without the leaves. With both leaves it measures 72.25" L. The chair seats are 15" D x 18" W at widest point. The seats are 23"H. Total chair height is 40.5". The total weight is between 160 and 170 lbs. Local pickup would be the best, but if you would like it shipped to your location, I have included information for that option as well.
