Up for auction is another beautiful antique wood trunk from JR Trunks. This wonderful trunk measures 34.5" long X 21.5" deep X 24" high. It has a very sutle curve in the top (see the photo with water glass). The trunk retains all of it's original wood, metal trim, latches and lock. The tray was rebuilt and some wood was replaced. It even has an original KEY. The handles are the only reproductions. They are period correct in appearance. It is finished in our usual deep oak hue. For those that may not have seen our trunks before, I sell these for my father in law. He is a retired professional refinisher and has been working with these old trunks for several years as a hobby. He retains the old wood, metal trim, latches and locks when ever possible even if they are a bit distressed. He feels this keeps them looking the way they should.
