This is a wonderful early transferware platter with a beautiful decorative motif. The lovely scalloped edge surrounds the entire platter. The transferware is in excellent condition with no breaks or overlapping. The scene comprises a center floral bouquet with two birds and a butterfly. The border is surrounded with flowers and decorative lace pattern. The condition is excellent with no hairlines, chips, fleabites, and no staining, just one firing divet up near the butterfly(note photo). T is some typical fine crazing which is to be expected with an early piece. The back is extremely clean and has the label "ASIATIC PHEASANTS", "R K & C". This piece would be a lovely addition to an early transferware collection. This platter stands on it's own based on condition, and delightful floral scene. Measures 15 1/2" long by 13" wide.
