This auction is for a Beautiful Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Gravy Boat in the CENTENARY pattern. The scene on the Gravy Boat is Horse Drawn Car on each side and the front area below the pouring spout reads FIRST STONE of the Balt & Ohio Railroad LAID July 4 1828. The bottom is marked 1827-1927 Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Sterling Lamberton China Design Patented. This is a very fine example of early B&O Railroad Dining Car china. This piece is in excellent condtion with no chips, crack or repairs.
