This is a beautiful piece of Bimini Art Glass. It is a stemmed martini, cocktail, or champagne glass with a large ovoid ball comprising the stem. The large ball has a polo playing rider upon his pony/horse. His right arm is extended out with his mallet about to strike the ball. The horse is dark brown with yellow reins. The rider has a flesh colored face, a red cap with black brim topped by a tiny yellow tip. His jacket is bright red, his pants white, and his boots black. This is whimsical and expertly done lampwork. The bowl and base of this glass have the typical also expertly done internal swirl decoration in white. As is characteristic of Bimini the glass is light weight and delicate. The figures are expertly done. It is just over 5 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches across the round top, and 2 5/8 inches across the round base. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Any white or light spots you see in the photos are flash reflections. A beautiful and rare piece for the Bimini and stemware collector or aficionado. Buyer pays shipping.
