Beautifully constructed brass mantle clock that I would guess dates to the 1960's. back of case reads Aug. Schatz & Sonhe, Made in Germany. Back of works has script Schatz, and a circle it reads Aug Schatz& Sohne, W3, Germany, in a rectangle it reads Two (2) Jewels Unadjusted. T are leveling knobs at the front corners and center rear. T are two knurled nuts at sides that unscrew to lift the top off to wind. T are several other adjustments on the back for loudness, speed etc. T are four positions for the chimes Westminster, Whittingt., St. Mich., Silent. Weighs 7 1/2 pounds and measures 9 1/2" tall by 8" wide by 6" deep at base. Looks and runs like when it was made.
