A golden corsage for your wrist! This heavy, solid bracelet with a gold plated mesh band has a floral centerpiece with bright glued-in rhinestones that sparkle, aurora borealis style, but from the inside out. The band measures 7 1/2" and has a textured foldover clasp, while the floral centerpiece has a riveted construction. A beautiful bracelet that I am told is from around the 1950s. A possible link to Hobe has also been made, but I have not been able to confirm it.
The band was extremely dirty when I purchased this piece, and a preliminary cleaning has revealed that the bracelet is in sound condition, but that there is wear to the goldplating on the underside of the band on this bracelet, where you would most expect it from rubbing against the wrist. A professional cleaning of the mesh by your jeweler may be desired to remove residual dirt in the mesh band to brighten it a bit. For its age, this bracelet is still in very good condition.
