This is a great estate sale find. It is a beautiful porcelain bowl with a basket weave design. It has two large cherubs sitting on the rim. The bowl is covered in gorgeous high relief roses in many colors. They are entwined with green leaves and branches. The cherubs hold the branches and the roses. T are gold accents on the basket weave and gold around the top of the bowl. The top gold is somewhat worn due to age. The bowl is covered in a nice glaze. The cherubs each have a blanket wrapped around them, one is yellow and the other is lilac. This bowl and the cherubs are in very good condition, t are no chips, cracks or repairs. T is only some age wear to the paint. The bowl stands 6 1/2 inches high (to the top of the cherub's head) and is 5 1/2 inches wide. The bottom of the bowl is marked with the blue crossed sword mark. This is a beautiful old bowl of Meissen style and quality that displays perfectly.I do not ship outside the U.S. Do NOT bid if you do not have an address in the U.S. in which to ship the item.
