Happy Thanksgiving Everyone This week I am offering a beautifully detailed Cold Painted Vienna Bronze Turkey. It is so heavy and has incredible detail and craftsmanship. The turkeys colors are brilliant and lifelike. T are similar items listed on Ebay for more than $1200.00. This turkey weighs approximately 7 pounds and is 7 inches high and 7 inches from head to tail. This came from a very prominent estate and dates around 1900 to 1940. They had a large collection of bronze birds and I was lucky to get some of the best. The turkey does have a foundry mark on the tai area with a circle and I cannot make out the rest. T is minimal paint loss on the tip of the fanned tail, but this does not detract at all from the beauty of the bird. This would make a great gift for the Holiday table, bronze collector or bird collector. Or maybe you would just like to treat yourself. Please ask if you have any questions.
