This is a beautiful piece that was purchased over 20 years ago from an antique dealer in Michigan. It is one piece-the top does not come off, but the shelves are adjustable. I have used it to store fine china and vases, but can be used to store pottery, books, just about anything! It was recently appraised for approximatley 1200, but I am very flexible with the price. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail. I really love this piece, but have to give it away (ok, ebay it away) to make room in my new home. Thanks for looking, happy bidding! Dimensions- H 5ft. 6"W 3ft. 4"D 1ft. 2"Wood is ash, with just a few knicks, none that were caused by me, that's just how the piece was made. The bottom two drawers are different heights, which I love! I think it adds to the authenticity of the piece. Thanks again for looking, and Happy New Year to you all!***please note before bidding-I recentley had the kindest ebayer purchase this hutch, however ebay misquoted the shipping charges through UPS. Please contact UPS before bidding, or e-mail me, and we will work together to figure out shipping charges. I just don't want anyone to be misled, so I need to put this disclaimer that i cannot guarantee the shipping charge will be what ebay says it is. Thanks for understanding, and I'll be as much help as I can to work with you on shipping charges!***
