Profusely embellished with magnificent phototype and wood engravings throughout. Published 1902. Red cloth hardboard covers with ornate lettering and decoration in silver and green on front and spine. Good+++ condition, no spine cracks; minimal spine edge and corner fraying. Red marbled end papers front and back. Pages are clean and tight, no scribbling or tears, a few pages have a very small light margin smudge, does not affect reading or illustraions. A wonderful old book filled with lovely artwork and hours of enjoyable reading!
