We are pleased to offer for auction this wonderful late 18 th century early 19th century Georgian unmarked but tested 18kt gold and pink topaz with turquoise brooch. The gold has a wonderful mellow patina. I can not say enough how spectacular the topazes are - the color- the sparkle! We love this one. This pin measures 1 3/8" x 1 1/4". You have to excuse us but at the shop we only have a postal scale- on that scale this pin weighs 0.1oz The pin is beautiful but does have some losses to gold frame edge. It is just a few balls- It is almost unnoticeable but we always list every flaw. It really is minimal for the nearly 200 years old that it is. Pin and c catch is original. Under loop slight surface wear on stones. Someone has added a small bail so this maybe worn as a pendant also. All Stones are set closed back. We have left this in untouched condition. We don't try to over clean our goods as some collectors want untouched patina. We will ship worldwide. As with all of our auction this great piece is offered at no reserve. So bid early and enjoy.
