Offered for your consideration is a beautiful custom hunting knife from Hess Knives. This is a well made knife that has the look and feel of a classic American hunting knife. And t's a very good reason for that! Hess knives is only a couple years old and was started by to brothers in Michigan's U.P. The two had worked for years at Marble's and decided to take their knifemaking knowledg and talents out on their own. Though you may not have heard of them yet, you certainly will if they continue to produce knives such as this. This is an exceptionally well made knife that exhibits the quality and craftsmanship that one would expect in a high-quality custom knife. They also back their work with a robust guarantee. This piece has never been used, carried, or sharpened and is in mint condition. The blade is very thick and beautifully ground. The deeply grained hardwood handle is really set of by the highly ploished guard and the brass, red, and black spacers. The pommel is polished to a deep mirror finish and is much more reflective than the photos indicate. The knife exhibits exceptional balance and the feel is outstanding. It has the feel of a stout, stocky knife, yet demonstrates a finesse that's contrary to its looks. This knife is perfectly designed and perfectly configured for field use.
